It is so hard to believe that one year ago, January 8, our precious Jonah came into our lives. He has brought so much joy to our family. We celebrated Jonah's first birthday with some family and our good friends Kirk and Dana and their boys. It was sad to celebrate without Papa Don and Grandma Trish and Papa Larry and Grandma Annette and the rest of our friends and family who have celebrated with the other two. Jonah was the first of our children to celebrate the big "1" outside of Washington state. His birthday theme was Winnie-the-Pooh, so the main cake was decorated with Winnie-the-Pooh and the second cake was made specifically for Jonah, by the bakery. He of course loved the icing and made a mess of his face and clothes. Having older siblings, Jonah really didn't get to open the presents, but I'm not sure that he even noticed. We had such a good time celebrating with him! We are looking forward to watching him learn and grow, as well as the many laughs that he will bring us this year.

He is sooooo cute! Wish we could have all celebrated with him! I love the pic of Jonah eating his cake, mouth all pulled in like an old man! :) hehe. So funny.
