It's so hard to believe that Trevon has moved his was beyond Kindergarten! On the 21st, he was so excited to meet his teachers and see what friends he would have in his class. He is going to have two teachers who share the teaching throughout the day. It sounds like one will teach math and science, while the other will teach reading and writing. The teachers seem really great and he happens to have two of his close friends in his class this year.
School began on Monday the 25th and Trevon was ready to go! Rick and I both took him to school that morning and couldn't believe what a difference a year makes. Trevon's first day of Kindergarten was filled with tears and an urge to run the other way, but this year, he walked right in to his class with a big smile and a quick good-bye. With the first week of school under his belt, he continues to enjoy his days of learning!
