Life for our family is one big adventure...sometimes that's a good thing...sometimes it's not so good. This year has been one of those difficult adventures, although, we do know that God is in control. His plans are perfect and his timing is perfect, so I know that someday we will be able to look back and see that, as difficult as it might have been at the time, it had a greater purpose.
For us, this adventure started out with a job loss, a new job, a new location and now it is taking us on another journey...back to California. Rick got another job with Coca-Cola. This time he will be working out of Fresno. Ideally, we would have liked to have stayed in San Antonio or moved somewhere along the East Coast, but I guess God has different plans for us. We will be living, once again, with my grandparents until we can get back on our feet.
Please keep our family in your prayers as we are continuing to try to bounce back from the job loss that knocked us off our feet back in December. Continue to pray also for the many other americans that have also lost jobs this year. I had no clue how people were really affected when they lost their jobs until we found ourselves filling those same shoes. It is painful, but we know there is hope for a better tomorrow.
